Gary Young chose network marketing as a vehicle for sharing Young Living products because essential oils and oil-infused wellness products require education — they are not an off-the-shelf product.
For many years, Young Living’s membership was primarily comprised of holistic healers and others interested in natural wellness — they shared the products organically among each other and with their clients. Many holistic health practitioners sold Young Living products as retail from their offices. However, as the oils grew in popularity and became more mainstream, more business-minded folks came along that started to embrace both the products AND opportunity with Young Living.
